Wade Alcorn - Strategic Advisor

Wade was CEO of Alcorn Group, a cyber security start-up that was recognized a number of times in the AFR “Fast Starters” and CRN’s “Top 50”. Formed in 2015, Alcorn Group rapidly became a dominant security player within Australia. After the acquisition, Wade led the strategic research & innovation capability within the organisation in the Chief Research Officer role. Prior to launching Alcorn Group, he built & led the APAC arm of the information assurance firm, NCC Group.
Wade Alcorn is a previous recipient of the AUSCERT “Award for Individual Excellence in the field of IT and co-founder of CrikeyCon. He is co-author of the book “The Browser Hacker’s Handbook” (Wiley, 2014). Wade is also the creator of “BeEF”, the popular open-source browser exploitation framework.
As a Founding Director on the Board of CREST in Australia and New Zealand, Wade was appointed Chair of the Technical Committee, leading the establishment of the CREST technical certifications, and a team of assessors.

He brings over twenty years of experience working in security, technology, and risk management, having established security programs and managed multimillion-dollar annual budgets across Telecommunications, Financial Services and Mining sectors.

Cameron Watts - Hemisphere East

Cameron is a former national security official with more than two decades of experience in complex geo-political and geo-strategic matters affecting Australia and the Indo-Pacific region. After a successful career within government, he began Hemisphere East to provide clients with a bespoke and curated government relations, strategic advisory and market entry capability.
Mr Watts has led multi-disciplinary teams in several domains in the national security environment, and represented the Australian Government as a subject matter expert in national security to supra-national forums such as the G20, ASEAN, OECD, and the UN.

Chris Matthews - Prezzee

Having spent a career protecting top-secret & highly sensitive data. As the IT Security Officer for the elite British SAS, Chirs protected some of the world’s most classified information.
Chirs helped build and lead Apple’s New Product Security team, ensuring the secrecy of its
most innovative technologies. Apple brought Chris to Australia, where he now calls the Sunshine Coast home.
Today, as Head of Security for e-gift card & payments company Prezzee, he continues to push the boundaries of cybersecurity in the rapidly evolving world of AI.

Alex Tilley - Okta

Alex is the Global Threat Research Coordinator at Okta & is a Cybercrime Researcher & Cyber Intelligence Expert. With over 25 years of experience in security & cybercrime, Alex career began in the online casino industry before transitioning into the burgeoning field of cyber security within Australia’s banking sector playing a pivotal role in developing countermeasures against then-emerging threats, including phishing & malware attacks targeting banking platforms & customers.
Alex later became the Australian Federal Police’s (AFP) first-ever Senior Cybercrime Technical Analyst, where he combined technical expertise with investigative analysis to uncover cybercriminals’ identities, motivations, & tactics.
After leaving law enforcement, Alex led Threat Intelligence & Research for the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region at Secureworks’ Counter Threat Unit (CTU).
Today, Alex is the Global Threat Research Coordinator at Okta, the world’s leading identity & authentication provider.

David Lalezari - NAB

David is an accomplished cybersecurity professional who has led Architecture and Cybersecurity teams at National Australia Bank for the last eight years, following his experience as a software developer, penetration tester, security consultant, and engineer. With comprehensive expertise in Threat Intelligence, Digital Forensics and Incident Response and Digital and Cloud Security, he brings specialized knowledge of an attacker's mindset and "Systems Thinking" to help build strong and competent cyber security teams. An active participant with MITRE's the "Centre for Threat Informed Defence" through NAB's partnership, David leads the strategy for NAB's threat informed defence approach.
