Abby Breytenbach

Biography

Abby is a cyber security leader and technologist with over six years’ experience working across public sector, critical infrastructure, education, research, and beyond. She has led initiatives ranging from strengthening organisational cyber resilience through to supporting teams during active ransomware incidents—bringing both strategic insight and real-world experience.She currently leads the Cyber Resilience function at CSIRO, helping enable digitally safe science and research at a national scale.Now based in Brisbane, Abby previously lived on the Sunshine Coast and is excited to be part of the conversations at SunCon.
