Sun Con 2025 was a sold-out success

We welcomed 125 attendees from across the cybersecurity landscape to the Sunshine Coast.

With 33% female representation, the event highlighted its commitment to diversity and inclusion in the industry. Attendees came from a wide range of sectors including government, enterprise, academia, and startups, showcasing the broad appeal and relevance of the conference.

The event featured two tailored streams—Cyber Leaders and Cyber Technologists—offering deep dives into governance, compliance, threat detection, and incident response. The program was enriched by attendees from leading organizations such as AWS, Telstra, Deloitte, BHP, Queensland Health, UNSW, and many more. Academic institutions like UniSC and TAFE Queensland also contributed to the knowledge-sharing atmosphere.

Networking was a highlight, with attendees enjoying surf sessions, breakfasts, and post-event drinks, fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration. The mix of formal sessions and informal gatherings created a vibrant and engaging environment.
