Study Sunshine Coast Supporting Sun Con 2026

Sun Con 2026 is proud to be supported by Study Sunshine Coast, the official student industry body for the region, dedicated to strengthening education, employability, and industry connection across the Sunshine Coast.

Taking place on Saturday, 9 May 2026 at the UniSC Innovation Centre, Sunshine Coast, Sun Con 2026 once again delivers a uniquely local experience — kicking off the day with an optional morning surf, before diving into a full day of cybersecurity leadership, technology, and collaboration. True to its moto, “Cyber meets Surf,” Sun Con blends world‑class cyber conversations with the lifestyle and culture that defines the Sunshine Coast.

Study Sunshine Coast’s support reflects a shared commitment to bridging the gap between academia and real‑world cybersecurity pathways, helping inspire the next generation of cyber professionals while strengthening the region’s digital capability. By connecting students, educators, industry, and employers, Study Sunshine Coast plays a vital role in ensuring local talent can study, train, and build meaningful cybersecurity careers right here on the Sunshine Coast.

Cybersecurity is a critical enabler of a resilient and future‑focused economy. Through its support of Sun Con 2026, Study Sunshine Coast is helping create a platform where students can engage directly with industry leaders, gain exposure to real‑world cyber challenges, and better understand the pathways available into one of the fastest‑growing sectors in the region.

Sun Con provides a unique opportunity to inspire future cyber talent, showcase local capability, and strengthen collaboration between education providers, industry, and government — all in a setting that reflects the Sunshine Coast’s innovative and connected community.

Sun Con are proud to have Study Sunshine Coast as a supporter for 2026, working together to connect people, ideas, and opportunity — and to prove that on the Sunshine Coast, cyber truly meets surf.
