CI-ISAC Australia Named Gold Sponsor for Sun Con 2026
Sun Con, the Sunshine Coast’s leading cybersecurity event, is proud to announce CI-ISAC Australia (CI-ISAC) as a Gold Sponsor for Sun Con 2026, strengthening a shared commitment to collaboration, information sharing, and cyber resilience.
Returning to the UniSC Innovation Centre in May 2026, Sun Con brings together cybersecurity professionals from industry, government, health, and academia for a day of practical learning and community connection. CI-ISAC’s sponsorship reflects the growing importance of trusted partnerships in responding to an increasingly complex cyber threat landscape.
CI-ISAC supports Australia’s critical infrastructure sectors through trusted cyber threat intelligence sharing, collaboration, and collective defence. By enabling organisations to share insights securely and learn from real-world incidents, CI-ISAC helps improve visibility of threats and strengthen cyber maturity and resilience across critical infrastructure sectors and their supply chains.
With a strong presence on the Sunshine Coast, CI-ISAC is closely engaged with the local cybersecurity community while contributing to national resilience efforts. Their involvement in Sun Con underscores the importance of regional collaboration alongside national initiatives.
Industry led and government aligned CI-ISAC is also playing an active role in work aligned with the Australian 2023-30 Cyber Security Strategy. With an initial focus on the Health Sector, CI-ISAC is now focused on advancing information sharing across all of Australian critical Infrastructure. David Sandell, CEO of CI-ISAC describes CI-ISAC’s role as “A ‘team of teams’ that facilitates intelligence sharing and builds shared capabilities to ensure no organisation is left behind in the fight against cyber threats.’ Mr Sandell highlighted that ‘CI-ISAC are proud to be headquartered on the Sunshine Coast and deeply value their ties to the local community.’
As a Gold Sponsor, CI-ISAC will engage directly with attendees at Sun Con 2026, contributing to discussions on threat intelligence and cross-sector collaboration.
